If someone's job was to treat addiction then they need to be compensated somehow or else how could they continue to work? Even pure charity has to have some form of income from somewhere.
BTW I still dont really categorize Neilly has having a gambling problem since it's only a problem if it significantly affects your life. He has family members freerolling his lifestyle, giving him rent money, food, etc. He's just very immature, but who wouldnt be on daddy's dime? We dont have to worry until he's sucking dick for redbird's on the strip to minbuy at a 1/2 game. What neilly is doing is no different than some whale pissing away thousands. It's their money, they dont care, it doesnt hurt them, so why not? Neilly's antics make his life seem chaotic but it's really not that bad. He still has a roof over his head. |
