nah what i mean is because the ionosphere is +ve and earth is negative so we get lightning all the time. So instead if we build a metal rod high enough into the ionsphere in some highly cloudy and stormy area, can we get somewhat a sustainable current passing form sky into the earth. It'd be the nuts i reckz
