I also want to know if it's a game of skill (my guess is YES, in a very limited way), and if it's possible to overcome the house edge (my gues is NO)
I'm assuming "pro pachinko players" is like saying pro roulette players but I would love to be educated otherwise/get confirmation |

it would be pretty cool/clever if they created a type of slots where its possible to have an edge, knowing full well that 99% of players will lose and the 1% that wins is like a commercial causing the losers to lose more
...but I think in reality casino type companies dont have the balls to do something like that and will always go for the 100% lol u lose guarantee |

Sounds very similar to the current online poker scenario. |

haha yeah but in poker they just rake every hand so they are never being exploited
I just think it might be possible to make more money instead of less by hosting a game where u are open to being occasionally slightly exploited, I mean at the start of pachinko it was apparantly like that and it's not like the pachinko owners went broke. How much extra money do they still make because of rumours about professionals and skillful play?
And then they ofcourse go "hey wait .2% of our customers has an edge on us, let's make sure that never happens again". |

they have HU limit holdem slot machines. Might not be beatable, but it's like you said, some people will get raped and maybe .01% of people will have an edge on the machine or be breakeven versus it. |
