So I've been playing the $1.50 hyper hu sng's on stars recently. Been making steadily making a small profit over about 30 of them. I'm just wondering if anyone could give me some tips and advice for playing the micro stakes hyper hu sng's. Also I think the rake is kind of high? So I should be looking to move up asap no?

if you can win at the next level, move up.

30 is a ridiculously small sample. That being said, do whatever you feel more comfortable with.

I play PLO hu sngs for a living since the rake is better than cash rake. Where I play all stakes have the same relative rake; 5% of the buyin. Seems pretty reasonable especially as these are non turbo I play.

I can't comment on how to play that is just your poker skill so gl with that. The advice I can give is to drop your ego at the lobby. It will be easy to get action at that level so don't bother rematching just because you lost or because you want to own a good player. Once you get a nice fish rematch THAT person. Don't sit other people let them sit you, generally. EASY to tilt in these and lose your edge, take a break and dont let that happen

30 is really as good as 0, you can't use words like "steadily winning" it's really dangerous to develop a habit of bullshitting yourself like that even though you're only gambling for pennies now

rake is a serious issue and at 1.5 hypers its ridiculous... they're a very bad choice of game imo

the rake is like 10bb/100 in a game where you start out with 25bb and a good amount of the hands is played with 5-10bb, good luck making money

+1 traxamillion's rematching advice, basicly rematch someone if u geniunly believe they're worse than the average player, DONT rematch people "because ur better than them" thats not nearly good enough
