So if it's "by us" and "for us" then it doesnt start by explaining how that fat guy who won the WSOP make poker popular and then ends with black friday crippling it in the USA right? Cuz like, we already know that shit. |

i'd like to see a doco on isildur1's soul tbh, and not a doco about a bunch of people who made a ton of money back in the day when poker was easy. A story should have an arc, a rise and a fall. And it should be about a hero. Isildurs story has an extreme arc to say the least, and he is a hero, he has true passion for the game. |

Doesnt even have to be about isildur since he might not give a fuck. But like get as many high stakes online regs right now and document their story post black friday. How they continue to play online, those who live in the USA vs those who moved abroad. Those who transitioned exclusively to live, etc etc etc. Dont need any more cliche documentaries telling us what poker is, what online poker is, and what black friday was. Those events are for people who dont know anything about poker, and we already have plenty of those. |

I disagree. What documentary exists that you could show someone who is/was not a serious player that fairly and compellingly explains the story of the poker boom? |
