When they came for the marijuana activists I actually cheered, because I didn't use drugs and didn't think anyone else should either.
When they came for the raw milk producers I didn't say anything but I thought to myself, "Good, raw milk could be dangerous."
When they raided the organic gardeners I kept quiet, I wasn't much of a gardener anyway, and besides, I didn't want to upset the home owners association.
They never came for me. I died from complications of the chemotherapy used to treat the cancer that could have been prevented or cured by drinking raw milk, eating organic produce, and using marijuana oil instead of poison as medicine.

lol not this again.
unless there's some pretty substantial evidence and research/testing done to prove that THC really does cure cancer...I'll be in the doubtful side. There aren't very many medical journals raving about the positive effects of THC in cancer patients besides pain killing.

The cannabis cures cancer argument is so exaggerated. There's not even close to as much evidence that it cures cancer as activists for it say there is. I agree with Yomer.

Any cure for cancer isnt going to come from the intersphere or blogonets. If this shit were real we'd have already heard about it by now.

You really need to stop writing exaggerated and generalized titles to your posts. It greatly degrades any content you post in them.
Cannabis does not cure cancer, it appears to greatly aid the patients of chemotherapy to recover from the harsh damage radiation does to a human body. It also appears to be blocking cell growth(including cancerous cells) and to be anti-inflammatory. The mechanism that is, at least mostly, ridding the body of cancer is still the radiation as it is 100% wiping out all cells(good and bad), but cannabis does appear to be a great help.
You guys aren't giving this near enough credit; did you even bother to watch the video before you commented?
I also find those righteous stoner's saying marijuana is the solution for everything to be quite annoying too but this is not that, this is doctor's and research scientists coming on CNN to talk about marijuana's ability to treat cancer and not just for pain relief.
Too many troll bandwagon's on LP these days imo

OP, to be fair though saying "looks like a cure" as first line is not accurate. Even the research scientists said it's too early to be excited and plenty of cancer treatments make it to this stage and there isn't enough data yet to say anything for near certain.

You are using very narrow vision In the future you will look back and see the ways the evidence was hidden from you. I'll keep giving you tidbits along the way.

Fair point Mainstream view can't take that line, but in my personal opinion it looks like a cure. Not "is a cure", but "looks like" one. I've seen enough people curing cancer on their own with only cannabis that I believe it, but I know the proper societal request before saying "is a cure" currently requires more than I can offer.
(I've edited the OP to reflect that it's just my POV)

The title of my post was Cannabis Effects on Cancer. I can't seem to find the exaggeration in it.

Effect on "Cancer" like it would work on all of the different types of cancers will always be a generalization imo.
The time of the all-in-one "Cure for Cancer" research has passed a long time ago.
