I moved finally - almost 3 days without Internet boys and girls :O
Here are some pictures.
Just to recap
- $185 rent including all bills
- under 10 minutes everywhere (shops, public transport, family, sports hall where I train)
- All stuff like microwave, washing mashine, shower in the flat already
- share flat with 2ppl - professionals work in factories nearby, hardly in the flat during the day
- own storage space downstairs for bike, suitcases
- balcony's mine, not shared
- blinds in windows, asked landlord to remove drapes for a more office like feel
th ebedding is from grandma/totally shit so I'll replace it soon

Sorry to say, but that looks absolutely depressing. I would not want to grind poker there for a living. |

sweden so rich
Looks pretty nice to me, cozy with some nature outside. And the cheap rent makes it much better. Every time I have lived in an expensive apartment I have felt terrible and stressed because I need to keep making so much money just to maintain some gilded cage of an apartment. Being financially free feels better than a silk bed. |

make it very colorful. You're going to be living in that room for many, many hours. Lots of colors are needed. |

I dunno man, it's got nice office like feeling now, sister liked the next room with drapes and plants and a TV a lot more but I say fuck that, if I want fun I can go meet up my pals or go to the cinema - I'm here to focus and it should look that way.
The layout is maximum space for stretching and what not and no distractions.
I train floorball 4x per week 1.5hrs with 3 different groups of people +have games every other weekend with traveling, and my friends and family live or work nearby so unlike it would've been in Scotland I won't go mental staying in the room 24/7 and when I'm here it's to grind or do related stuff. |

I dont think he meant "distractions". For some people it is very important to have a cosy eye candy place to live, and since you play at home you could have the opportunity to shape your work environment the way it pleases you. But for some people it is totally superfluous.
Anyway, gl man. |

This is what I mean. Paint the walls abstract shit-thrown-on-the-walls-by-your-baby style. |

If you're only there to grind, and not meet people, then i guess - it looks good. From personal experience, balancing a social & work life is key to succeeding in both areas.

I agree with iop, looks like a pretty depressing room. I'd buy some paintings or some plants or something.
Kick ass steal with how low the rent is though, nice find. |

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time | |
