But I always found it weird for people to want to kill themselves - life is such a great resource who has the right to decide when to end it? Certainly not worthless scumbags that want to kill themselves in the first place like this here Joseph, no they don't Sir.

So how about you consider your life as you know it to be over already, and instead dedicate every single remaining minute to invent the best ways to help other people, make them feel better and change their lives when your's is already over?

People with severe depression aren't in the state of mind to want to change their lives like that.. consider yourself lucky - not everyones as chemically balanced as you.

Why not jump off a building? or in front of subway train. painless, and guaranteed ways to end it..

I always thought that those would be my options if I would ever want to do it. but now that I think of it more, I think I would want to feel some pain.. to actually experience the process of dying.. you know?

Doesn't seem like you want to die seems like you want to be talked out of it and are seeking something; friendship, attention, something.

There are a lot of people with schizophrenia and as far as I know most do not desire death. It also seems like your case is not severe.

That's not really true. Virtually all suicides are technically premeditated.

THERE ARE 500000 DOCTORS. IF UR FAMILY TAKES IT AND U NEED IT, GO TO A NEW DOCTOR AND DON'T TELL THEM. PERIOD.

Life is all a series of moments, if you want to die during all those moments, its worth the risk hands down to feel normal and good.

I always found self-administered euthanasia (in terms of legality) a catch-22.

1. You need to be of sound mental state to consent to suicide; or to be in a sound mental state to accurately make a decision.

2. When you are considering suicide, you are by definition not in a sound mental state.

In other words, I do think your family did the right thing. There are other options man, good luck.
