Lmao it's a re entry so about 100k overlay. Your point still stands though. Kinda shows how desperate wsop NJ is for liquidity. Still failing hard.

brb going for trip to NJ

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

sick EV on this tourney

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

This is only a available to NJ people? Or is it shared player pool with nevada and delaware?

In order to play on a NJ site(Party/Borgata,WSOP,888,Ultimate) you must be physically located in NJ(you're forced to play on a wireless device such as a tablet or laptop to get you geolocated). Only NV and DE share pools. NJs being a dick but they'll eventually cave in and combine pools.

how do you deposit? and what is the traffic like on each of those sites for both mtt/cash?

just curious, i grew up in NJ, spend about 1.5 months a year there on average, would be nice to grind an additional site or two

You can deposit bank transfer, ACH, Neteller, or the cage to their respective land based partner. I guess it really depends on what stakes you play but there are at least 10 tables of 200NL running every night on Party. On the weekday, Party and WSOP both offer a 10k tournament for $100(freezeout) and $27(rebuy+ao) respectively. If you've ever played online in vegas, it's generally 3x more traffic(not during WSOP obv). Just shoot me a message to check if there are any promotions here worthwhile. I work for an online poker company in NJ that plans on expanding into cali so I'm generally aware of whats going on.

i basically play 200-600 PLO cash (6max, not a hu player) and occasionally the $50-$500 tournaments that run. is it worth having money on 888/ultimate as well?

i live in cali now, whats the timeline like out here?

thanks for all the answers, and congrats again

It's 5pm here right now and there are absolutely no PLO tables running on Party, the biggest site in NJ. My guess is if there are any PLO games running, the players are competent to some degree. Ultimate's biggest GTD tournament is the $20k, and it almost always sees an overlay. For example, these are the turnouts for the last UP $20k Sunday GTD.

I'm actually going to be in SD to present to one our potential tribal partner this week to discuss the state of online poker. It really comes down to how badly PS wants to be in CA, since they'll have a significant impact on the legalization of online poker. Honestly, I expect online poker to be up and running in Cali by fall 2015, but it's really up to PS. Clearly, they want to be selling out to Amaya, who has online poker presence in the US(they are caesars)
