You realise that your last few posts have been nothing but whinging/whining. If you can't take the emotions, quit poker, else suck it up - Quote: "Shit Happens" - True Story.

I'm gonna get reamed for suggesting this strat but it's the only thing that works for me at micros. Play half stacked. I never really find there to be 3 streets of value against fish. They snap call the flop and turn chasing any ole draw but always check/fold the river when they miss. If they didnt miss, it means they hit their backdoor 4 outer and you're gonna get shoved on and make bad calls with overpairs. Their ranges consist of a lot more middle and bottom pair hands than top pairs which you have outkicked, so you can never read them for anything until they show down K5o and you're beat. So just get it in on the flop and turn while they're still chasing and then hitrun the table since you're playing zone and can just restart half stacked again.

bye now

If he is indeed getting it all in with a 94% probability of success, "half-stack" is technically not the right solution, but would achieve similar outcomes. Practice effective bankroll management and let the probability play itself out - you should be able to ride out these variances if you are getting it in with positive EV.

Oh I agree that I probably have no idea what I'm talking about, but I'm in the same boat as him. I always find myself losing big pots and winning dozens of small to medium one's. Common sense says I must be doing something wrong in big pots or on the river, but it was basically always shit like this. Bet bet bet and they either hit some royal suckout or they just give up. So I figured I might as well remove the suckouts from the equation, so now I can never lose more than 50BB's in any given hand.

AYY LMAO

while you can't lose more than 50 bb, you also can't win 200 bb. i hunt the bigger stacks because you can usually keep track of them for a while, at least, and if there's only a few for the night, it's even easier. specially the number one stack floating around.

Sure I cant win more than 50BB's either, but that wasnt happening anyway. The problem is fullstack or even deepstack play is probably best done in a situation where you have information on your opponents, reads. Zone poker is anonymous and random, so you have absolutely no idea who you're up against every single hand. How can deepstack really be profitable here? The only thing you're missing out on is implied odds coolering people. You dont get to execute any big river bluffs, sick turn check/raise meta play, etc. Doing that shit would just be a random guess at an anon zone table.

However most people have a pretty typical playstyle for flop and turn play, so just make your money there where it's safe, at least at a zone table.

Too many fish to pass up. You go look at ACR or something and it's nothing but grinders. You look at Bovada and people are defending their blind with 35o and floating out of position. I've seen someone say "I always see the turn no matter what". I mean cmon how can you pass this up?
