I would strongly recommend you not. I don't think it would injure you or something, but it is really ridiculously hot and I could see someone going to the hospital due to the pain. That said, I use these all the time in my cooking in small amounts and the results are just fantastic. They add a great flavor, and if you like extremely spicy food they spice dishes in a way that really builds nicely as you eat it. Also don't need to use much at all because it's so hot; in short I'd say you should buy them, but don't just eat one.

I've eaten one before and it's pretty intense. I did it at work to show off because I'm known for eating hot stuff so someone I know kept bringing me increasingly hot peppers. First a habanero, then a scotch bonnet, and finally a ghost pepper. With the ghost pepper hiccups started immediately and my nose started running and cleared my nasal passages. The burn was very intense and lasted about 30 minutes. Afterwards I got a great euphoric feeling. I love eating hot peppers and intense salsa. I just got some Blairs mega death sauce that is 550,000 scovilles haha. I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you have a tolerance built up for extremely hot peppers. Keep in mind the ghost pepper is 1 million scovilles and a habanero is in the 100-350k range.

i had a professor who got some free habaneros from someone and he was having a dinner at his house with like his students for some lecturer or somebody who was visiting campus
at this event he had like chips and salsa and drinks and other shit laid out so he said to everybody okay there's 3 kinds of salsa here because i know people have different preferences for spicy food. one is mild one is medium and that one is hot and i would be careful about eating it
so this rather cocky guy goes straight for the hot sauce and the professor reminds him remember that's the spicy one so just be aware of whether you can handle it the kid is like yeah spicy food great
while the other salsas were typical like red colored this one was yellow as a result of being a bowl of nothing but freshly pureed habaneros
so the guy took a bite like it was going to be delicious and then sweat is coming face red and his tongue is hanging out and breathing through his mouth and nose is running everybody's laughing and the professor goes oh i thought it might be too hot here have this drink and gives him a coke and the guy takes a sip and spits it out and is putting like napkins and shit on his tongue and eyes watering and everybody is hysterical
It seems to be not very profitable in the long run to play those kind of hands. - Gus Hansen

that professor is fucked up by offering coke. everyone knows coke only makes the burn worse. milk would've been the correct choice.

I also love eating hot stuff, but ghost pepper hot sauce wasn't even a bit enjoyable. I ended up throwing it out.
Ghost pepper hot sauce is most efficient sine your only need a couple of drops per meal, so it last forever

(lots of other chili stuff on his channel)

Don't buy the ghost pepper wings at Popeye's Chicken; they're not hot at all.
