144 hz if you play anything competitively, and it's not even close. 60hz 4K is nice if you're more into single player games and you've never experienced the awesomeness of 144hz and low input lag. The 1070 won't do 4K well though, at least not in the most recent triple A titles. I'm running a 1070 at 1080p 144hz and I get around 60-110 FPS in those at ultra settings with 2x or 4x msaa. A good 1600p/144hz monitor with gsync/freesync is probably the best of both worlds at the time being, assuming you have the gpu power to get good fps. |
