Simple question

When in your poker routine is a gym if you could go any time and it were 5 minutes from your place.

Just wondering for you experienced guys - when the best time it's been for you to put work out in your routine to max energy for poker and life ev alike that you've been consistently able to sustain long term without burnouts?

The whole point of being a poker pro is to be able to wake up whenever.

Night gym ftw

Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - KapolLast edit: 17/12/2018 00:22

You wake up at 8am? Wish I could sustain that. I prefer going to the gym before poker. Just head straight for gym, shower and shave there as well. It gives me a boost of confidence.

I dont know what a dt drop is. Is it a wrestling move? -Oly

Simple tip:
Turn off PC and phone 1hr before bed
And have a notebook open where you dump your thoughts, write lessons and goals
Clean etc.
And when you can't do that
have melatonin pills ready (I use them like 3-4 times per month these days)

I actually found out that having a rigid schedule frees up space mental space for poker itself
I don't have to think about any other shit like when to wake up etc. And it gets easy to put in autopilot habits
And when I'm done with poker I'm done and can give full attention to people mentally

Except running sims and talking hands for a treat at night

EDIT: I don't have an alarm clock, fuck that though, sleep as much as my body needs
Instead regulate times I go to bed
And when I know it'll be more productive to take 4 naps in working hours I fucking do that
That's why I love the job and it's way better than an office job even with pretty rigid working hours cash games allow me to keep

EDIT2: I also play on games in different time zones that peak around 5-6pm so it's kinda a pleasant must for me to work a 9-5 job haha

And yeah I'll experiment with mornings now
Thanks
They say it's easier to lose weight if you do that too?

IDK about that. My goal has always been to gain weight aha. I feel that morning gym routine works better for live poker, because you need to shower and get out of the house. If I played online I would prefer working out late.
