Did you know that I am afraid to drive on big bridges and highways these days? I don't know how to kick the panic, the phobia.

This idea that the individual will is responsible for everything like some New God. Well, we soon find out that we are not Gods at some point and crack under the pressure. Drugs, suicide, what have you. Even stoicism tends to build up tension and crack under the pressure at some point. The Stoics tend to be more prepared for such a thing. It is certainly a predicament these lives we lead. Would I be saying this if I was in an orgy with models in Bali? Teleport to the midwest for great coffee and pancakes with friends. I have gotten back into drawing actually. I haven't been playing any games.

you should. i think they are quite special. they just released alan wake 2. the world is interesting in the quantum-weirdness way. control has funny finnish idioms translated in english like "there will be work for the axe, take them behind the sauna" but it's probably pretty random to you.

I am trying to fight modern day nihilism here but alcohol and Alan Wake 2 kind of brings my whole argument down especially for neuro-divergent freaks like us.

My week is going okay.

On one hand, some of my students got me sick from coughing all week without covering their mouth, so several people in class got sick. On the other hand, I am currently on a 9-day vacation due to my school being given a week off for Thanksgiving.

I was in Las Vegas yesterday and made some profit, but a lot of profit was lost on this guy named Jonathan Pearce. He was winning and then got subbed at the end of the round.

The Formula 1 car racing event in Las Vegas was a bust. Hotels lowered their prices back to the original rates, but there were less people in town than a normal weekend. It was as if people intentionally avoided Las Vegas instead of flocking to it. It worked out well for me since I didn't have to worry about large crowds, and there was no line when I got to the airport security check area.

I miss the desert.

play max payne 1 and 2 first if you can handle old games. if you want a more modern game I'd try Control.
