I'm a newbie.

I started playing mid November 2006 with a $30 bankroll.
Through the help of a few lp members, I was able to learn how to play the .01/.02 games.

I did horribly.

For the next three days or so, the $30 in my account turned into a mere $9. This was around the time of the Anytime vs Nada finals, I remember playing during the game.

Anyway, through a magnificent stroke of luck, I was able to turn it back into $40. Through many weird swings, I was finally able to master 2nl. Yay

I continued to do decently when I reached 10nl. I had a $240 br when I switched. I did ok for the first few minutes, up about 2 buyins.
Then wtf?

One of the stars' anniversary hands happened to land on my table! I was it with a pair of jacks, and my br was boosted $250 to about $520.

That's when it happened.

I've been slow ever since. I went up to $600, then started losing a bit.
A friend recommended 6max; it was a lot more fun and I seemed to be more in control of the game.
Through a series of bad beats, my br went down to $310.

I was kind of pissed, but whatever. It happens.

I took a 4 day break
I started 10nl FR again a few days ago. I'm doing better.

I'm planning on playing fullring while I continue to move up.

PLEASE!!!

I need help on my game.
Whenever I post a hand, please feel free to criticize it, because I have much to learn. Every hand I post here is posted because I'm unsure of what to do.

HELP ME

Wish me luck !

I'll try to keep track of my progress here

hang in there man, I completely coasted to 460 from 283 when i began NL10. since then(about 3 weeks ago, who knows how many hands), ive been down, way down, back up, down, down up etc etc and now sit at 270. I think ive just been fried lately playing so much and need a break, perhaps a week or two because im becoming somewhat indifferent to it(poker) at times. sounds like youre back on track though. keep it up.

You luckbox...that anniversary hand was such a big boost for you.

I tell this to every other penny grinder.

PLAY SNG'S, way more profitable at the low stakes.

With a $200 bankroll, thats 30+ buyins for the 6.50's which is more than comfortable.
But just to get a feel for things u should start at the 3.40's.

Live, and let live.
