sorry to bust your chops here, but paulo coelho is a pop author, meaning that he writes for the lame which mean for the mass population. His writing isn't deep, actually it is quite superficial.. your liking of his books (which are indeed nice to read) is that he understands how to get across to the lame public (you and me) to like reading.

But his writing is definitely not deep.

I reserve my right to argue about your opinion I understand that he's pop author but everything that he's writing in his books somehow hapenned to me or I thought about those things. I was really amazed when I saw many questions that I had were answered by his book.

And this didnt hapenned only to me, my friends and relatives read it and they experienced it too I would be proud to be Brazil as you are (since he's brazil author)

Ive read the Alchemist and i have to agree with camila. He has good good prose but totally writes for the masses. Oprah book of the month type shit.
