Thought it might be a good idea to create a blog. I'll start this show by giving a little back round about myself: I'm an 18 year old college student at Florida State University (Tallahassee, Florida). Outside of playing poker I enjoy drinking / partying / hanging out with friends - the norms of college.

Before college I found myself playing Starcraft daily (now I realize it was a great waste but I did end up meeting some really good friends that I still talk to). I used the account ()utlaw(sphere) as long as multiple others. Played that game for over 6 years.

Poker had always interested me. I remember watching some poker shows on TV when I was around 14 and signed up for pokerstars (don't tell lee). I donked around the play money scene and made a few million play chips and then sold them (made around $200 total). After that I got back into starcraft which eventually brought me to where I am today. I put poker on the backburner until some good friends on BW told me I should give it a shot: clawson and murray. I had always wanted to put money on, but my parents credit card never worked. So finally after hearing about the grandeur of online poker, I sought out alternative methods to get money online (little less than a year ago, around May). After successfully putting money into pokerstars, I began to play the 5NL tables. I was extremely nervous and I can still remember how excited I was when I won my first pot. I always considered myself to be good at poker, however, that foolish thinking was soon destroyed as I saw my BR dip down to $35. I went on MSN and asked uT)murray for some advice on how to play: he forwared me the link to grot's guide. From then on I shot up and was making some really decent money on 5NL. I moved up to 10NL with about a $300 roll within a week or so. After having some slight trouble, I was pulling in 4-5 BI in a day. After another week of playing I hit 25NL with around a $1000. This is where the inexperience and the drone like playing caught up to me - I was able to go up to $1200 but broke even daily for about 5 days and was extremely furious about 25NL. So I made the intelligent move and wandered to the 50NL tables (yeah, I look back and laugh too). I quickly went up to $1600 but then after about a month of grinding 50NL, one day I went about 4-5 BI. The next day, the same. Eventually I was down to $1000 and became extremely fed up with poker, so I cashed out and left $50 on. I went back to 5NL and did what what I could do best - bank on 5NL (use to easily pull 30-50 a day).

Then one day, I went to college. I went from a guy that barely went out and partied to someone who always wants to go and party with friends (whether it be weed/alcohol/or other drugs ). Anyways, whenever I have some extra free time away from my hectic schedule, I usually spending it browsing through various poker forums while enganging in poker. Throughout this time, suprisingly, my game has exponentially increased. Despite this, I don't have the time to dedicate to successfully accomplish my poker goals.

Poker is something that i've always wanted to become great at. It seems like my entire life i've always just been decent at various things such as: tennis, starcraft, school work, beerpong / flip cup (yes, i'd destroy you at beer pong, that's all we do at FSU). Anyways, what i'm getting at is i've been decent at just about everything in my life (luckily decent is better than most people, but nothing to the point where i'm happy). I hope poker, since i'm only 18, will be something that I can become great at (one can only dream).

I'd say my life is composed of poker/partying. My friends and I have weekly tournaments and I have been teaching a few how to play online. When I play i'm usually at my friends crib putting in the hard work while trying to help his game out (I gave him $50 and he's right now at ~$400).

Now that we're passed all the trite and meaningless mumbo jumbo, let's get down to the current stuff. Currently I play 25NL SH on UB with a $800 roll, trying to clear that bonus. In addition, I play 10NL on pokerstars (might do 25NL if I can get some extra time this semester) with a $1100 roll. To date i've made over 4k playing poker. Not bad considering I started last May and don't have much time to play. I'll use this as a place to record play / post hands / try to better my game. I'm always willing to help players that are just beginning to play and or are beneath my level and i'm always willing to talk poker with players that are above me.

Special shout out to midian, capaneo, clawson, murray, and UTmax for getting me here and helping me out at times. Like I said, i'll post here frequently. It's now 3 AM and I need to get to bed!

Peace out
-Bishop
