So yea.. poker has been pretty good, after moving up to 25/50 made 100k~ in a week or two, but friday I think it was tilted ~70k so sorta not been playing much, not sure if I really want to jump back into 25/50 again, might just play on FTP in the 2/4-5/10 games since my FTP bankroll is like really small now.

I also have a sidebet that I have to win, play 2x more hands than my friend for the month of february, which im getting raped at i'm pretty sure. I have around 30k hands and I think hes in the 20k~ range

also im sorta thinking about starting to possibly offer lessons, but i really don't know if it would be worth it unless it was 300$~/hr, which is still not close to what i make hourly playing poker.

I've been really lazy with school but it just seems so.. not worth it in respects to things, and I am having trouble seeing myself completing college if things keep up the way they are going.

what are u studying at college? i would probably drop out and try to make as much as i could with no distractions

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

hehe nice to see so many people here making a shitload of money with Poker.

But concerning the school thing.
It really depends how confident you are in your poker skills.
many people dont see how much save money a good job will give u.
They see that they are good at Poker and earn more money than most poople do with their job.
what they forget is that a good job will give you the money till you are an old man. While Poker is not the same reliable source of income

A good job will give you 3000$ / Month for 40 years = 1,400 000 Dollars lifetime.
If you are 100% sure you can make 1,000 000$ out of Poker and other stuff you are good at in the next 10 years school is an easy fold
cause then you can invest this money in things that will bring you save money till the rest of your life.

Quit school and go for Poker.

otherwise id not risk it.

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)Last edit: 20/02/2007 06:31

anyway i dont think teaching poker should be done for $$$ since obv playing will always win more by playing, nobody will pay $300/h to learn from u man.

Heh, it's really funny paradox, that people who could afford to buy the coaching, probably make enough money already to not need it and the ones needing it, don't have the money. <3

But I guess that could work for some 1k nl player :D gj on making more than most people make in a year in two weeks!
