Hey Guys.
I've really been struggling lately. Well not struggling, more like swimming uphill. It's really been weird, my last like 6-8 sessions, I've dropped like 3 buyins very early in the session, usually within the first 300 hands. Then, I spend the rest of the session winning it back. This has happened this exact way in my last like two weeks of play. It starts like a nightmare session but it never ends like one. The worst I've ended is down like 1.5 buyins. But usually I end up +1 or +.5 buyin.
Over like 30k hands now I'm running at 2ptbb or so.
I know this could be random shit luck, but I'm starting to doubt it. Anyone go through a run where this happened? I don't really feel like I play too awful, maybe make a few light calls I shouldn't but overall I think I'm playing fine, and isn't tilt supposed to come near the end of a session? Really odd, I'd love to hear what you guys think.
Also, check this hand out.

I've run into this situation a few times. It's hard to put him on a boat because raising doesn't really seem necessary. I'm also usually hesitant to put him on the ten.
Any thought on this?
Anyways, Cheers and hope you all are running great.

i dont really think that villain is checkraising turn that pairs the board with top card when he's on a draw (unless he's very good). you're behind here 90% of the times imo. i'm not sure about the turn though (check behind or bet?) |

i feel as though checking the turn behind is a little weak, and gives a free card to the diamond draw (which is the easiest hand to put him on).
maybe i need to reanalyze my game. |

bet on turn is smaller than I'd have liked. Check behind is fine, but I think its meh because if the river is a blank, you'd fold a pot bet here? |

thegame is really solid and won't get out of line, but will also pay off your big hands a little bit. he's not giving away money, but in this case you're most likely on the positive side. if you check back on turn you never get paid off by worse hands really, but you let some worse hands draw for free, AND you pay off a ten on the river anyway when he leads into you. so you might as well pay that ten off now, because it allows you to get paid off by a few weaker hands every now and then. so bet the turn, but don't bet 22. thegame doesn't get out of line much, but come on, you're begging to get check/raised here. bet over 30 on the turn and confidently fold to a check/raise. if he flats, make another decision on the river but you should usually check any card. |

getting in your vbets on the flop and turn is better, because there are plenty of sklansky-mistakes he can make on the turn that he will NEVER make on the river (obviously), and when he has you beaten the result is the same either way. |
