ugh those hand histories are awful to read but ok starting with

hand 1

do not play small pairs against short stacks. you don't have implied odds to hit your sets. the reason you play small pairs is so that you can flop a monster, well-disguised hand and then make the big moneys. so once you get 3-bet by someone with $5, fold. a rule of thumb: when short stacks dont open push, they have a hand. you can be 100% certain that when someone with $5 raises 1.75 preflop, he's going to shove it all in on the flop. are you prepared to call that with a pair of 4s? didn't think so.

hand 2

do not value one card straights. on the flop, raise or fold. when he tinybets (1/4 pot lol?) on the turn, RAISE THE FUCK OUT OF HIM don't take shit from fish. if he reraises you then you know your 8s are beat.

hand 3

don't call a raise with A7 in the small blind

1 . a badbeat is going all in with the best hand vs a worse hand and then losing
2. never whine if u are unlucky keep it to urself like 90 % doesn't care only ur true friends cuz they'll share ur pain.
3. never start bitching at the guy who outdraws you
3.1 this takes ur attention/concentration
3.2 it will take longer for you to remember the beat since u will b bullshitting about it with that 'dude'
3.3 you wont play ur A game

two additional callers, and its .75 to call, and im supposed to fold? sorry i dont understand the logic in this. If he had made it like $5 preflop then yea ok.

im currently break even after 14k hands at nl25 which is my second attempt at nl25. im having issues adapating to 6max whereas i feel i can crush 10nl FR consistantly.

I guess i need to find a better hand selection to play/raise.

Im still rolled quite comfortably for nl25 so thats not a problem, just hope i can adapt my game to 6max nl25 so i can start to profit~

Im running at 20 vpip and 14% PFR which i think is nice, i was doing 7.5% early on but now ive opened up my hand raising standards quite a lot especially in position, havnt really seen any benefits of it yet but thats cos i dont seem to be able to hit many hands.

there are two other callers in the hand including a guy who is near enough fullstacked

if it was just me and the shorty then fair enuff but for .75 extra 4 handed is this not absolutely perfect set chance?
