So recent I've been searching for a new watch (since I left my old favorite Fossil watch in Hawaii with my best friend while I was on vacation there) and so me and milkman have been searching for baller status at an affordable price. It's actually kind of funny how much some people pay for these watches because I'm pretty sure 95% of the price on some of these things are just for the name. Rolex, being one example, has a dozen watches all worth sick amounts of dough, but all baller status ofcourse. While scanning their website I found my dream watch:
May I Introduce to you...The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona
This watch was even named for me. Unfortunately I looked at the price and threw up (Somewhere in the neighborhood of $10,000 at the minimum, figures something that's tagged with "Cosmo" would be that baller :-P). So I guess the search continues. Anyone know of a good watch that has a similar style to this one, but is also somewhat affordable? Like in the mini-baller range of under $1000? If so, give me a heads up.

Trust me Jonny, Rolex Deytona is basically the most white trash, ghetto watch that there is out there. With the retail price set by Rolex itself around $8,000 and getting sold to public by retailers at around $12,000 you can guess what type of material we are talkin about.
And if u wanna spend less than 1,000 on a watch get a Tissot and a Tissot only. Rado and Omega is also good if u r looking for around 1000-2000 in price. |

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most: saying something and wishing you had not, or saying nothing, and wishing you had? | |

Capeno u must be kidding me! most Tissot watches are no where as near as nice as this watch. |
Huh?? Tissot watch are around 100-800. I'm not evenh trying to compare a 1,000 quartz watch with a 5-10k Automatic watch. I just said Tissot cause Cosmo said he wants something less than 1k. |
