So I decided I wanted to major grind this month and play the most hands I have ever played in a month all at 100 nl and try to achieve a high winrate doing so. But, for some reason I opened up the 200 nl tables and thought they looked soft so I gave it a go.

I ran good to say the least... http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/169011 (lucky overpair vs cosmo... i'm pretty sure he was tilted tho) But I think I am playing better also. I know I am playing different because I have started to do a few things

1. Fold or sometimes (rarely) reraise small pp's from the blinds OOP
2. Widen my reraise range vastly, but not like loose or anything
3. Fold more often when i have no good read in the hand, or raise.

So i lost 3k in one session at 200 nl with some major coolers and major beats 5 weeks ago, then the last 6 BI was purely tilt. After these great sessions lately I dont know what to do.... I have 50 BI's for 200 nl but i'm still too pussy to go there full time. I have tilt problems when the money seems like a lot, but almost no tilt problems when the money seems like nothing. I am pretty sure I can keep up AT LEAST 4 ptbb at 100 nl, so whats the rush?

'1. Fold or sometimes (rarely) reraise small pp's from the blinds OOP'

you dont need position that much with small pp's as in relation to other hands, no need to fold small pp's for a 3-4bb raise OOP imo. Calling for setvalue is fine

Look at his hand and equities, what do you expect him to have here, uno cards? - TianYuanLast edit: 04/04/2007 16:45

well its just the fact that small pp's are hard to play OOP and if they are raising late they probably dont have a hand they are gonna stack off to me if i hit, i dont know a lot of good players have been telling me to fold small pp's oop to late position aggros or reraise if i want to play, i mean occasionally i call but not often, is this bad?

i dont think it is but id like to hear some opinions from other players, i usually call them OOP for setvalue only.

at 1/2 and above especially against regulars, sometimes you gotta start folding them because your implied odds are less for 100bbs as they are for 100bbs at lower stakes against lest competent players. However yea there are plenty of times where calling for set value against the right players is more than +EV lol

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.
