When I started to play poker I though “hmmm, poker, mooneys”. Well… no mooneys yet. I had the ideia that was just play many hands, very tight, that money would como some day, it’s not like that. I think I have a judgemental problem, since I can’t evaluate when I have the best hand and everybody in this site say that poker is easy. Reading post saying it’s easy make me feel very dumb and incapable.
I’ll stop making a big deal about poker, I like to play this shit, I’ll keep playing, one day I’ll start making money. I’ll focus on learning, NL5 is not a great place to lear but it’s all I have in the moment. I’ll try to post more hands in the hand discussion forum, I don’t post there too much because I’m not a good player so I can’t give good advices, and I feel embarassed topost hands there because I guess that they are probably standard hands for everyone.
I allowed my friend (the one I already mentioned in this blog) to plays 10 bucks because he always say that it’s easy and stuff. The results? He lost 25 dolars in less than 5 minutes. I didn’t mind since I was depressed because of my losses.
From now on this blog is all about learning and improving, not whining.

Nowadays, peoples problem is that they prefer an empty praise instead of a constructive criticism. | |

meh, don't get ahead of yourself. If you're a solid player at 5nl, you'll win at a rate of 10bb/100 hands. If you play 12fr tables, that equates to about 60bb/hr, which is only $4.80. That means it'll take you about 15-18 hours of playing to get to $200ish, and then you'll hit 10nl (which really isn't different to 5nl, but it will FEEL different for you). Assuming the same 10bb/100 win rate at 10nl, you'll now be winning $12/hr, so it'll take you another 26-30 hours to reach a bank roll of $500. Then you can hit 25nl, how ever 25nl is actually different to 5nl and 10nl (not by much, but you will experience a very slight decline in win-rate because players don't suck SO hard). To get to 700 at 25nl, assuming you win 8bb/100, you'll need to play another 8-10 hours.
So if you think you can get in 60ish hours of poker in 2 weeks, all while playing 12 tables, then good luck to you . |

And judging from your hands...I don't think you're a 10bb/100 winner yet =( |
