LOCK UP YOUR KIDS, NOLAN IS BACK IN TOWN.

I played my first session at 200nl Full Ring on Stars the other day. I did OK, kinda ran blandly (Only had Aces once and it folded to me in the BB) and had some kinda bizarre "coolers". (AK vs A7 in a 3bet pot on an AJ7 board)

Fortunately I won alot of middle sized pots so things turned out in the plus. The games were kinda tough being a weekday, but I think with some weekend sessions I can sustain a slightly higher winrate. Hopefully anyways.

In other news, There are flagrant rumours going about that I am a Harvard student. These are not true, rather my University allows an exchange program where I can take a class at any University along the Amtrak train line (Maine, UNH, Harvard, BU, Northeastern, BC etc.) if my university does not offer it. So although I am a registered Harvard student, it is one class and is misleading. I apologize for the misunderstanding, I'm only a little smart, not quite mega smart.

Speaking of University, it's pretty hard, so if you're doing OK at poker and still in High School you should defer until you're done with poker to go to school because balancing poker/social life and schoolwork is difficult.

Also, if you guys could suggest some good movies to rent (one's I probably have not seen) I would greatly appreciate it.

And lastly, I would greatly appreciate any commentary on my PT stats, I personally think they are interesting and outside the realm of a typical 200nl FR player.

maintaining more then 5ptbb in 1/2 FR would be considered very good.

Expecting to sustain a higher winrate than 17ptbb/100 in full ring is "lmao" worthy.

Adam.

The Prestige is pretty good, you would probably like it.

your PT stats look pretty loose i guess =p

if poker is dangerous to them i would rank sports betting as a Kodiak grizzly bear who smells blood after you just threw a javelin into his cub - RaiNKhAN

adam nolan is like most consistant 200NL player around -__- he been playing it for so long

btw i saw prestige yesterday. It wasn't bad very intresting and entertaining not a GREAT movie but the plot and the setting was extremely captivating to the imagination and mind. If you like the concept of magicians and magic then its definitely worth it to see it. Plus it has quite a bit of drama and good acting all around, i liked it tbh. Nolan knows i like good movies.

also nolan your AF is kinda low bro dont u think?

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance, by running away from the scene of an accident.

Yeah, It was, I'm not sure why, not really standard but whatever. I can recall a few hands were I got it AI on the turn too so I dont really get it.

Although I do think I'm one of the more passive players at 200nl full ring... Well, more passive for a winning player.

Your stats are pretty similar to mine (I play 200NL full ring on stars too). I'm a little tighter preflop (15/11) but I have a slightly higher overall AF. Also, my winrate over the last 2 weeks is about 17 BB/100 lower than yours.

nice, but i really dont believe u are able to sustain 16ptbb/100 on NL200.
i think even 8-10ptbb/100 is extremely difficult and i dont see anyone capable of it playing these stakes for any longer period of time.

i mean, if was beating it for like 5ptbb/100 and i moved up in less than 1 month.

there is a light at the end of the tunnel... (but sometimes the tunnel is long and deep as hell)
