Bad day, bad run, wathever, right after a "doing good" post. Think i got overconfident and greedy, resulting in lack of attention in the game.

This bad run stated right after yesterdays posting, so here I am posting again to break the spell.

LP not showing PP hands gave me bad luck.

I will not start all that whining, but it would be a good moment to do it.

Soma hands:

don't know if the turn fold was the best thing to do (this after the results), but I would have folded river anyway

2- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178553
Don't know if this is a call, still have som problem with thesse hands

Ez fold for probable straight?

4- http://www.liquidpoker.info/h/178572
Don't know it is a call PF, but i think I made a good call.

Bad call, huge suckout. Obv he had a T.

There is a hand like this already... It's about pot odds, I'll check if it is profitable to call here, but a 6 made a possible straight in the board.

All day like this...

Fold river? Any hitted set beat me.

Nowadays, peoples problem is that they prefer an empty praise instead of a constructive criticism.

1 i fold on flop cause it's hard to make anything if you hit since there'll be a 4 straight on board, you're out of position, and you only have 6clean outs which may also get raped by Q9. just a spot i'd rather avoid personally.

2) i raise more preflop, there's a guy who posted a dead blidn and a limper aswell, pop it up to $0.20 or $0.24. post flop without a read i just fold, there's no draws on board so he's probably leading with a K.

3) you can't fold now after putting that much in, there's other shit that he gets it in with that you beat. just unlucky.

4) obviously. AKs is a monster preflop, you rarely run into KK/AA cause you have one of each card and you're not in bad shape against anything else + this guy is a shortstack + there's dead money in the pot, it's a slamdunk call.

5) some people can definitely do this without a T, like with QK/98/flush draw, most people don't just shove with top trips top kicker. apparently you didnt think this guy could do this without a T though, so if that's what you thought then you should've folded. trust your instincts more yo

6) lol are you serious? you have 2 outs here, you can most certainly not profitably call.

7) raise more on flop. he had to call $0.12 to win $0.4 - those are huge odds, raise to $0.3 or something like that. Turn you potted which is cool since most of these donks can never fold flush draws. good check behind on river.

8) i prefer a check call on river cause when he calls on the turn you can only put him on a J/draw/maybe some kind of turned 2 pair/88 or a misplayed flopped set. if you bet river and he had a set you get stacked, if he had a 2 pair that made a boat you get stacked, if had a 2 pair that didnt make a boat you probably don't even win a bet, if he had a missed draw you definitely dont win a bet, if he had a jack you only split anyway so no value betting vs that either. only possible thing you can get value from by betting is some kind of 2 pair that didnt boat up, whereas if you check you may induce a bluff from a missed draw (of which there are waaaaay more than there are of 2 pair combos that didn't make a boat) and you don't get stacked by the hands that beat you.

One day good. One day bad. And some days, even hopeLast edit: 21/04/2007 19:45
