I decided today I'm going to start up keeping this blog a little bit more than just some of the stupid stuff I do. Especially since/while I am moving.
For any who are interested, since I have been out of the Army, I have lived mainly in good ol Houston Texas. This however is about to change very shortly. I am currently in the process of moving to Washington DC! So if any of you know any good stuff to know about that area (especially poker related) please hook me up!
Also, if anyone here would like to add me to their messenger to talk poker or what not, I am tloapc at all of them, AIM, MSN, and YM.

So today I woke up and decided to actually not play poker, do some non poker stuff for a little bit. Help get my mind away from work some to keep things in perspective, you know, keep it healthy.
So I watched the new Bleach again, which rocked but I hate being all caught up and having to wait a week for each new episode to come out! Especially since it started getting good again. I also watched Death Note 29 and 30, which were also good and now has me impatiently waiting for 31.
While surfing, I ran into this video, which some might find interesting.
Baby vs Cobra

So then I got bored of surfing, and decided to play a game of chess. Heres the game:

{Black resigns} 1-0

A few things I quickly realized when playing this game.
A) It became quickly obvious to me in my play that I have not played an actual game in years.
B) I could totally tell in my game that I play poker now
C) I got very lucky in this game, Villain made a major mistake and I was able to capitalize on it and not let go - which to me can be one of the hardest things to do in chess vs a good stubborn opponent - win a won game

I had a ton of fun though playing this game though. I had forgotten how much fun it was to battle it out over the board. It was very refreshing, and I am going to have to do this more often.
I'd post more, and I like I said, I will start to now, but my beautiful gf is off of work, and I'm gonna see how she's doin. L8r~
