I also made a few REALLY BAD tilt 3bets/4bets and then had to fold to shoves (lol so bad) and a couple of - arguably - stupid calls vs a retarded station when I had TPTK.

wow that fucking sucks... It reminds me of my NL 50 downswings, but never ever would I have played that many hands when it's going bad. How many tables were u playing? |

In the end I guess it's not sooooooo bad.. I was running through NL50 way too fast -- was just waiting for something like this to happen, although I was hoping it would be 4 buyins not 14.
Still, maybe this will inspire me to actually learn again (I'm much more lazy about learning when running good.. I don't spend nearly as much time analyzing my hands after sessions -_-).
I really feel like learning how to play looser, I mean like 25/20, 30/25 or something (I play about 18/14 now that I 9 table) but I'd like to learn to play less nitty as 1) maybe then I'll finally learn how to handle variance 2) it's very different from my personality, so maybe I'll improve in that area.
Maybe I should be moving back down to NL25 if I try this tho (I'm still properly rolled for NL50 tho). |

What you should do, IMO, is try to play less tables, 4 or 6 and just try to loosen up a bit but not too much. Loosening up a lot makes it so easy to start tilting. Just enough to get action on your big hands and get a solid winrate. You shouldn't try to play 30/25 when you are playing so many tables and when running bad, it's a very bad idea. You should tighten up after a big lose, not the opposite. |

Yeah, the first thing I think I'm gonna do is just continue playing 9 tables of SHORT sessions (during may I never played more than 3k hands at once I think) until I've rebuilt a bit, then maybe I'll start experimenting..(I really like playing 9, as long as I don't play too long sessions I can concentrate really well on them). |
