So a few thoughts on bankroll management. I haven't read any of the posts here regarding such, but I have read a few on 2plus2 and the general consensus there is the 20 buy in rule. However, this is not to say that you can't start taking shots higher if you are confident in your game AND you are willing to drop back down if/when you lose a few buyins.

For myself at the current level I am playing (50NL) I think that 10 buyins is more than enough. I am usually pretty strict on dropping down when I should...when not tilting like a madman..or drinking (I gotta stop drinking and playing). I just can't motivate myself to play at like 5NL at all, and I fell that I can easily beat 100NL so I want to get back up there as fast as possible.

anyhoo...enough about that. I had a super good session last night that brought me up to $650

Not many interesting hands, the sweet thing is that I didn't suffer ANY bad beats..if only this would never happen

Hand 1

This guy was a total buffoon. He bet me off top pair a few hands earlier by open pushing the flop. Then I saw him bet flop/turn and push river on a few hands. So I flop top pair good kicker, and let him bet into me. Terrible river card putting an over card and competing the flush draw, but I figured I had to call this monkey.

Hand 2

I raise it up on the button with A3 off and flop a gutshot. I decide to 2 barrel it, I was going to put it all in on the river regardless but the river card helped.

This is one of my big leaks, I have a tendency to bluff way too much. BUT when you check to me 3 times, then most of the time I'm gonna 3 barrel you.

Hand 3
I turn a flush on a paired board in a limped pot against a retard guy who is like 77%vpip. I have literally could have any 2 cards, but meh..I put him all in on the river and he calles with his trips.

.. 10 buyins for NL50 is enough to play NL25 (sorta) so why don't you do that instead of playing SEVERELY underrolled?-_-

Also you should use the LP.net handhistory function located to the right! Cause it's better than pokerhand yo=]

Hm.. Off-suite socks..Last edit: 05/06/2007 10:08

hmmm...everybody seems to think I am gonna go broke real soon. Did I mention that I play at PARTY POKER. The games there are retardedly soft. you can find 70+ vpip retards almost always..just sit, and take their money.I realize I am playing underolled, but like I said, I drop down if/when I lose. If I run good a few days, then I will be rolled just fine.

anyways..appreciate all comments even if you all think i'm retarded or whatever
