So I put in a marathon 3000 hands yesterday, which is insane for me. I started out at NL50 and went up 4 buyins. With my bankroll now up to 1150, I decided to take a 4 buyin shot at NL100. That started out like shit, with me bluffing off my stack in the first couple hands,to being down 3.5 buyins. I made a nice comeback though and ended up +2 BI.
Bankroll now at 1340
Hands.....
Hand 1
Dumb bet on river with a set here on a straightened board... should have check called maybe? I couldn't put the guy on a 4 let alone a flopped straight since he raised PF...MEH
Hand 2
I 4 bet 1010 from button suspecting a BB was 3 betting me light. Flop comes AKx, and I CB for less than half pot, trying to look like I really wanted a call. He said he folded QQ. WOOP !!
Hand 3
Folded TOP 2 in 3 bet pot. I put the initial raiser on KK,AA or AK with his min raise PF. I was going to call his all in, but then other dude calls, and I must be beat..good fold me

Hand 1....
Why the hell are you slowplaying on this flop? There's a flushdraw, there's a straight draw', the guy might have a huge overpair which he most likely isn't folding AND you have top set so he could have a ton of lower sets.
You apparently like to lead with sets (which is pretty rare since most people seem to check/raise sets, lead strong draws), so I personally would like a shove here cause they are probably more likely to call with overpairs (maybe even more marginal ones) thinking you are drawing.
At least in my eyes, this is the perfect flop NOT to slowplay, so many draws that will both make it more likely for you to get called by overpairs and make many of the turn cards reallllllllly ugly for you (such as that 7 of diamonds).
Hand 2.. That's not a 4bet, that's a 5bet -.-;
1 guy raises, you 3bet, you get 4bet, you 5bet TT...... (EDIT: Oops, thought the first guy min-raised, not limped).
Hand 3.. why did you fold a full house! :D J/K seems like a strong fold. |

1. BR-managment
2. Push hand 1,
don't turn TT into a bluff (he won't fold AK, KK or AA so that leaves JJ-QQ which he should fold/push pf.
3. Read dependant but good fold I guess, but I might be result oriented. There's a lot of other 2 pair hands that they could have or maybe pair + draw so I'd call, but I'm kinda of stationish. |

Agreed on hand 1 I should have pushed.. I dunno what I was thinking there.. I really couldn't put him on a hand, I thought he might have been bluff raising me with overs, so I was allowing him to catch a pair or something. VERY STUPID WITH FLUSH DRAW and STRAIGHT DRAW there.
regarding hand 2..isn't it a 4 bet?? I raise 1 limper first, he Re raises me for a 3 bet..I 4 bet?
How bad is my flop bet here ?? I think his range here is slightly larger than just JJ+ and AK. Might be able to through in some lower pairs, and him looking for a set. I was sitting with 150BB's and he covered me. He is definately not getting odds to hit a set, but who knows what he is thinking. So anyway I bet out because I didn't want to give him the chance to bluff me with the hands that I beat. The only way I figured I could take down this pot was to bet.

Yea well, after your pf-play I guess you should bet, but that's one of those hands when you'll probably go broke to an overpair if you 4-bet and the flop is small cards and you're only flipping vs overs so I mostly don't like pf. I'd rather push then 4-bet actually. Might fold out JJ or something. |

About Hand 2. You would really play AA/KK AK like this on this flop? Maybe its my noobness but this look to me more like a scarebet from something like JJ/QQ more than "i want a call bet" |
