i have both verizon (dsl) and earthli<x>nk (cable) and both of those are seriously giving me a headache.
verizon has been getting really good pings and decent speed but often disconnects which are gay even tho full tilt has the new disconnect protect timers. so i have to quickly unplug dsl and plug cable in so i can get back on action.
earthli<x>nk on the other hand doesn't disconnect but has really high ping and slow speed. rofl. i cant play on full tilt at all with this kind of connection. but stars seems ok. good software =].
thing is that i can 12 table easily with earthli<x>nk high ping on pokerstars fine, but not on full tilt tho. to play on full tilt i need my verizon connection which disconnects every fuckin hour.
i dont know what else i can do. i live in nyc and those are like the only residential internet providers =/. there are others but they are powered by the same companies. earthli<x>nk and roadrunner both uses time warner and all dsl companies use the covad CO i heard.
this seriously sux. i really need to clear my $500 bonus on full tilt that they just gave me!! =]. with rakeback this is really good money =]

Depending on how much you are paying for both, you should invest in Bellsouth DSL. Its great, i lived in flushings and i have had no problems if all fails buy a Nextel/Sprint Wireless card. It should cost less than having two internet providers |
