Hello friendly neighbors. Its been over a month since I've entertained you all with a new entry. I doubt 1% of you have even seen me around...

A month and a half ago I was playing 25NL, hovering over the same bankroll for oh say...a year and a half lol. Since my return in mid may I've picked up momentum and have really begun to learn. Posting hands, watching videos from the LP community has really boosted my game. I even went as far as hiring a coach to solidify my playing st<x>yle. Even though the session didn't go very well, I got all I could out of it by plugging the miniature holes in my game.

At NL50 the competition is unbelievably frustrating at times, and juicy on the weekends. There is so much floating, restealing, hero calling, etc. etc. it's making my head spin. I keep giving up the small pots because it's like my hand is face up. Do I try to out-out-out-think the good pla<x>yers? Or just take the easy road and just play my cards? I feel the former has more value in the long run.

...Yet I'm getting my ass handed to me. I'm not getting crushed, but remain a miniscule winner thanks to the clueless fish. But if I ever want to move up I know playing my hands only won't get me to my ultimate goal of $2/$4

I watched exalted's video and it was well done. He said something about not being a believer in image and I think that applies when opponents are only playing their cards and the stats they have on you. That makes a lot of sense since not many pla<x>yers get overly tricky at NL50...they're such frickin nits (or loose passive unless with a hand) it's so annoying. Meh, I don't know what to believe. If you've got suggestions to improve then lets share. Looking at hands will only get a person so far
