Cant beat 50 fucking NL |

Impossible. Can't win. Won't work.
Whatever I do at 50 nl fails. Bluff? They are all fucking stations, call call gg buyins. Don't bluff? Oh, that's the guy who doesn't bet without a hand, fold to him. GG buyins.
I think a big hole of mine is raising with a wide range in LP. I have a whopping 23% PFR on the button according to position stats, and play about 21/16 - 20/15 overall. 23% PFR on the button is not that big, but since everyone calls with any fucking 2 in the blinds im throwing money away. Position is irrelevant if someone is a calling station.
Another big hole is being too predictable on the turn and river. I rarely 2nd barrel bluff because I can't tell who will fold and who won't. I'm pretty good at putting people on hands and can tell when they are weak, but that's pretty useless if I have air and they won't fold.
I don't know what to do. Post advice in comments please, 30/10 pla<x>yers are destroying me.
edit: I think I just fuck up a lot of big pots. Gonna reduce # of tables I play and see what happens.

Well, You actually really want posistion against calling stations. Lets you take a lot of free cards to hit your hands and then value bet really think to get max value. You also should make sure your not playing so many tables you can't figure out who the stations are and who will let a hand go. I think taking down notes like (Bit of a station/Bigstation/calls one street like so fire second bullet/ ect.
Also, Don't worry too much about being predictible on the turn and river becouse most of these players arn't good enough to exploit that. ABC poker wins at 50NL and anything else is just a bonus.
You'll get there just stick with it. |

play more straight up poker and don't get yourself in sticky situations. 3bet less if you do that a lot and just play ABC poker |

Sounds like your playing like shit. just work at it. You're probably giving your opponents too much credit for plays that are simply way over their head. Every stake is different and takes time to learn how to beat. Just figure out what is actually going to work rather than sticking with a losing pattern. Think it out. Since I've been working for a moving company the past few months I've had little time to push through 50NL to 100NL but I've slowly been re-tooling my game to an effective strategy for the limit. Unfortunately I probably can't give you much advice because I play FR and you're playing 6-max. Completely different, but best of luck. |

I think I play exponentially worse for each additional table I play - I'm probably one of those people who can't play many tables at once. Oh well, I'll work at it and improve. |

I think playing less tables is a good idea try 4 for a while, I only play 6 theres no shame in that, you really need to know whos who because theres a wide range of playing styles on FTP, some of the regs are actually pretty solid so know who to watch out for, theres also tons of guys who think they're superstars and you can take some big pots off them by letting them make plays at you, I agree with everyone else you will figure it out trust me its not impossible to beat FTP 50nl |
