Well, I hope so at least. I've reached enough money to move up in stakes (by the 20 buyin rule, at least).
I was planning on moving to NL5 a lot earlier, but I didn't realize at the time that NL5 was deep too. It has the same size buyin as NL10. Now that I have $200 is there any reason I should play NL5 at all? I have 20 buyins for either 5 or 10 and it just doesn't seem worth it to play 5. NL10 isn't significantly harder, is it?
Also, updated database containing all the hands I played since I got Holdem Manager last weekend. I didn't play as much this week, but I was running pretty good.

i agree with bane, i made about $120 or so in NL5 before moving up.
NL10 is alot more volatile and i think its harder too, especially since no-one gives you free money anymore like in Nl2/Nl5, you have to "earn" it. you gotta learn how to play properly, cant just always assume ur aces are good etc
my graphing of NL5+NL10:

Personally I would just go to 10nl, but do whatever you feel most comfortable with. The players are plenty bad at there, just keep playing your big hands strong and value bet the hell out of them.
Seems like you have a good attitude, hope you continue to do well and move up. |

NL10 is not too much harder than NL5. I remember that I had a bitch of a time to try to make money when I switched to NL5 from NL2. I had to re-evaluate my game quite a bit before I could start making some money in NL5. Now, its too easy. Maintain a good attitude, good bankroll management, and play solid ABC poker. |

It's not that big of a difference though people will get slightly trickier in NL10, on the rare occasion. At NL 10 the annoying thing is all the people buying in for 2-5 dollars, and an NL5 it can be even worse. The nice thing about NL5 is that your BB/100 hands looks beautiful when you stack some other people who buy in for 10$ instead of $5 |

I'd play NL5 'til about $260-$275. That's my plan anyway. |
