Here's a few hands. Tell me what you think of my play. Thanks
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/305802 Definitely a retarded call here. I didn't think this through, it should have been screaming set to me, right? About 1.5 seconds after I made the call I realized oh shit I fucked up.
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/305803 Definitely stupid raising on flop, but this guy kept doing small raises so I thought I'd use a small raise to build the pot if he was gonna fold to my 5bet. This is actually the only time I've ever almost minraised...and I hated every minute of it. Besides that can I find a fold here or is it a cooler?
http://www.liquidpoker.net/h/305804 Here at the time I was 90% sure he had the flush, but when I went back and looked at it I didn't feel too great about the fold.

Hand 1: your reraise preflop sucks. I'm not an expert at bet sizing but I think $0.50ish here seems good. Such a small raise lets him setmine, which is exactly what happened. With proper raising preflop I think you have to go broke on that flop, whether you suspect a set or not.
Hand 2: hard to put him on JJ because he limped, but this is NL2. I don't like going broke in limped pots without something really good, but with a queen kicker you do beat a lot of 6x hands and NL2ers are quite capable of showing up with a lot of Jx here. That said the guy clearly really likes his hand and that mess of reraising you got into is just ugly. Raise properly on the flop and if you don't think he's too terribly nitty I guess I don't mind getting it in. I think if it were me in the hand I'd flat his flop reraise and try to get to a cheap showdown by check/calling maybe? I can't even tell if I'm being results-oriented here or not. Anyway, I say cooler.
Hand 3: bad fold, you were getting better than 3:1 to call and this is NL2. Your turn bet is too small, and fixing that would make the river decision trivial anyhow. You want to make flush draws pay through the nose to see more cards, especially against NL2ers who love chasing them. The few times he hits his flush will not make him back enough for the times he pays you big parts of his stack to miss. I'd bet the turn at least $0.75-$0.80 and get it in on any river. |

Hand 1: instacall.
Hand 2: instashove.
Hand 3: instacall, u have 3:1 showdown and its NL2
at NL2:
-You never fold a set
-You never fold overpairs
-You never fold when u get nice odds on river
I suggest grot's guide to help you start and wish you good luck. |

OH and don't be results oriented Hand 2 is obviously a cooler, you need to get used to that and keep playing solid abc poker. |

the flop action was hilarious in hand 2.
in general valuebet your hands harder than you are doing currently. No reason to ever really bet less than pot at these limits. |
