I don't know how I can have made it to 8k and be at 2k by now but whatever this is basically the fact. I wish my blog wasn't all about whining but I can't say I'm happy with the result.
I gave a try to improve my leaks, I'm still doing it but sometimes trying isn't enough.
Oh guys I feel so depressed... it'll obviously fuck up my school very bad I have big exams coming.
No more weed and I'm getting drunk, but it isn't even fun.

lol thats so cute Kapol. Do you know where they sell those?
and Oddeye, you're prolly life tilted. I can say by experience that I let this happen to me once although the money wasnt as big. The most important thing you should do is to play when you want to play and have no expectations like "winning back your losses" or "I have to win". Just go out there and play solid, maybe even drop down to 50NL or something. Basically try and simplify things.
You'll get back there in time |

I swear I played solid, when I had that huge downswing at NL200, I can say I thought in the exact way you said, but I didn't play any bad or sloppy any day of the week (maybe excluding Friday night where I was sorta dizzy from the previous night) |

Cash in your rakeback and take a long break from poker. You say you have exams, ok, study hardcore for them. Then come back and play when you feel better. |

what about u switch to tourneys/sngs ? they are less stressful than cash games and u can keep playing poker with small buy ins, just my 2 cents. Hope you recover asap. |

Odds are exactly 50%, either happens or it doesnt | |

Don't switch to MMTs. Less stressful? Yeah, right. I get one bad beat in a latter stage and I feel like shit for the next 10 hours, lol. |

I can only advise you to change site !
Ofc as fayth allready said , this doesnt make sense from a logical point of view since there is no such thing as getting doomswitched >_<
However it can really help from a psychological point of view
Can you play at a site with a positive relaxed attitude knowing you lost like 6 K 30 buy-in almost all due to bad luck ?
I could not.
I had a similar thing at a lower stage. ( as i allready told several times )
Lost 18 buy ins at NL25 Party Poker in 10 k hands and i barely did something wrong ( of course a few mistakes here and there but not even close to justifiing such a cursh T_T)
I felt like shit and hated life
I changed to Ipoker
and with the same playstyle i lost the 18 buy ins on party NL25 i made + 16 buy ins on Nl20 ipoker so far....
lol..
I would advice you to play nL50 at another site for a while to regain fun in Life !
I am pretty sure id be broke by now if i stayed on PartyPoker !
Luckily i changed sites and am almost back to my old healthy BR |
