Why am I so fucking awful at headsup
First HU attempt ended down 900 at .5/1 (2k hands)
Second ended down.. I dunno, I guess 1.1k (400 .5/1, 700 from some guy I just played at 1/2 since I saw him drop 15 buyins to someone I know.. of course, I'm too fucking horrible to win vs him since I'm either a weaktight retard or a retarded callingstation paying off obvious better hands). Total hands like 6.5k or so this time.

I mean fuck, it's not even about the money, I have enough of a roll for it to not REALLY hurt (I dunno how much I have exactly right now, but if I had to guess I'd say between 8.5k and 9k, although I'm gonna have to cashout about 1.5k that's still a fine roll for 1/2), it's just embarassing I guess.

The problem with this session was that I sat down expecting him to be some kind of magical ATM - I mean, I had just obsed him donate 15 buyins (yes, 15 buyins) by doing things like snapcalling shoves with 3rd pair. I don't think I took a single note or paid any attention to how he was playing until like 10-15 minutes in, I was just not at all in the right state of mind to play and was stupid for doing so.

Of course that was because he was on extreme insane tilt vs him, but not vs me. And by the time I understood that I was already stuck a buyin and I'm much too stubborn to quit when down._.

EDIT: Does anyone know if I can move all my 1/2 handhistories to a new database? I have so many .5/1 ones in my current prima one that it's pretty slow so I want to split them up since I only need the 1/2 ones anyway.

Just gonna move everything back to prima and really really really grind 1/2 for the rest of the month instead of trying to play HU which I suck at. At least I win money at 1/2 6 max --;

You probably just need to really work on value-betting a lot better. A lot of heads up is variance, but you can easily excel at value-betting far better than your opponents as they will call down a lot lighter than normal.

Edit: That is if you really work at it and develop it as a skill.

seems more like he needs to work on folding if hes losing 900$ then 1.1k in 2 sessions, lol.

I have a lot of HU problems but valuebetting isn't one of them I think. Much more to do with overvaluing hands, making stupid peels with no plan for the turn when I know the guy is super aggro and is going to fire twice FOR SURE.. Hm, never quitting when I should.. Paying off stupid hands..

Daemonicus, I lost 700 in one session at 1/2, (TP vs turned straight, hm a bluff for about half a buyin, paying off 3 streets with KT - lol - on a XKQXX double suited board where the flush missed (although I think it was obvious in hindsight he was valuebetting since he probably knew I was a little bit tilt-calling station mode and he used those bets for bluffs and vbets). Oh and JT vs AA on a T89 flop where he 3bet then check called, check check turn and he bet river and I called.

Hm also won a buyin with a flopped straight in a 3bet pot, so yeah, bled away tonnes (that buyin I won brought me back to almost even and is really REALLY when I should have quit).

Also, AJ vs AQ on a A hi 3 heart flop in a 3bet pot (he 3bet), went like check check, bet call (me), he check, I vbet river. I also won a coinflip for like 150bb /w AK vs QQ so I bled a lot of chips away too, he was just better than me when not on tilt, it was quite obvious =/

But yes, I'd say folding is a much bigger problem than valuebetting It's just that the 900 wasn't over 1 session, it was like.. 900 over 2k hands (although I did lose 600 in one session to some guy who calls 4bets with K6o, but it was again partly my fault since I screwed up a in a 200bb pot really badly when I got rivered, but was a pretty easy fold if I hadn't played it so badly).

The 1.1k I lost now, while the majority was from this one session, were spread out over 6k hands in total.
