Finished a small 6 max session again just now.

I'm really happy with the end result. I went down about $130 at one point but even though this was a result of a terrible re raise all in with KK on a 89T flop against a 40/25/2 fuckwit - i still didn't tilt in the slightest and just kept trying to play every hand one at a time.

I ended only down about $12. BTW (for Loco) stats for the session were 18/12/5.33

So the good with the bad (would like advice on all hands though if you think it's warranted)

THE BAD
1. donkey (me) can't fold KK but this guy was a serious fucking maniac - i was re raising him every single hand but he just kept calling me and taking pot away from me on the turn

hand 1. this is really really bad. no need to go broke here against that donkey, this board hits his range so hard, the turn should've helped you get away from it EASILY, that aggression was really unnecessary and looks so tilty.I'd check behind on the turn every single time.Don't let your feelings take the best of you when you get shit boards vs donks.

hand 2. wtf, don't fold this is fine.

hand 3. nh

hand 4. yes you did misplay it, don't float this flop ever with AK, either raise and rep a good hand or fold.In this case you have two people left to act behind what were you thinking!! insta muck this hand ur hand looks so weak there raising UTG and just calling a donklead with two people left to act...also u're only really confident about your hand if you hit the nuts (so u have 2 outs cuz the T of diamond isnt one) if you hit a K or an A you are definitely not confident because he can easily have made two pairs

hand 5. you are lucky he called, his hand sucks so much in this spot, nice hand.

hand 6. GODDDDDDDDDDDDD this is bad bad baddddd!!!!!!!!!! you have to build the pot against such a bad player and HOPE that he has an ace or tries to bluff or bluff catch with a jack.. not betting the flop is okay but bet 10$ on the turn and make a solid bet on the river after.

also one thing important is that you shouldn't be reraising bad/maniacal players light pre flop, you should actually TIGHTEN UP against them and learn to value bet your hands strongly. In this case AJ is very ahead of his 3bet calling range obviously so you are not 3betting light, you are 3betting for value!

fuck I should just sell some of my Pokemon cards, if no one stakes that is what I will have to do - lostaccount

I might even check the flop with the KK hand and go for a cheapish showdown.

Hand 4: I'm with loco

Hand 6: I like a bet on the flop, I don't think he'll bluff that much on this board and you'll stack any A, JJ and get value out of like QQ and KK a lot here.

ya i forgot to mention that betting flop is good there, but most important is that if you check flop you cant check turn

Thanks heaps guys - and with regards to the re raising lightly - i meant what you guys said. Everytime I did a re raise preflop against him I knew that I was ahead of his range. I did this with hands like AJ, AQ, ATs, KQs and 88+. I always knew that this was way ahead of this pfr % 30 range. Thanks again for your advice - i definately played some of these hands badly.
