A really good month winrate wise, but I played such a small amount of hands. I did however, hit 10k on the month with the supernova rakeback rate.

I want to grind MSNL for like half a million in my life, and invest it, and be a millionaire from poker by the time i'm 30, as well as have a normal job I enjoy. These are some things I think about a lot during the day, do any of you 10k+ a month guys think about this stuff too? I'm just 21 right now and I think it would be easily achievable if I was just smart about poker and smart about life.

I love your thinking sir. With the skills you have an outlook like this you have such a huge jump on 99.9% of the population. Hell most brilliant people are neck deep in student loans at age 25, and still aren't making 10k a month.

You're a genius. Also, you can definitely be a half-millionaire by 30 if you just grind 1/2 forever.. 10k/month = 120k a year, that's only 4 years from now. If the legislation passes to allow online poker (some reports say from 12-18 months), fish will replenish and we'll have bunch of money in the poker world. Just something to think about.

not meant to put you off but, i doubt anyone can grind 1/2 for ever. you will get sick of grinding. poker is boring once you have achieved 98% of your potential, just like no matter how hard you try, you can only be 'that good' in SC, and you feel bored playing the same game when you no the outcome years after years.

but yes being a millionaire from poker is possible if you can beat 5/10$ and grind for years. Remember you spend a lot of money along the way too, so no way 1/2$ can get you there.

Hmm... i said $500,000 from poker. I'm already close to $100,000, and most of that $100,000 is since May 2007 playing nothing but $2/4 and below. I dunno, i think if i put in a lot of hours for a couple years I could get to $500,000, people do a lot crazier/harder things in this world all the time : )

Hey man, I've got about the same thought. I'll try to have million SEK (1 USD = 6 SEK) during the end of next summer (I'll turn 21 this spring) of which I'll try to have about half invested in different stocks, mostly pretty high risk. I'm not quite sure what my next goal after that will be, but it'd be very nice to make like $100,000/year or so while still in school and invest at least half of it every year. I think that's pretty doable and that would give me a very nice start in life.

well yeah you are on track, 500k is achievable grinding 2/4$ I guess, but that's assuming online poker is not getting any harder and you don't get bored playing the game.

anyway i have been dabbling with stock markets and mutual funds recently, I found this article quite interesting http://www.schwab.com/public/schwab/r...g/whats_the_right_time_to_invest.html
