He's a good pitcher, but I'm not really ready to give up jacoby ellsbury.

We won the series this year without him, and can do it again.

In fact, I would love for the yanks to give up hughes, cabrera and kennedy, to have $50mil locked up between 2 players.

Bucholz is projected to be a #1 starter. We have him and Lester under contract for at least 3 years.

So one time theo... just leave the roster alone.

think about it thought to have the 2 most dominant aces in baseball on the same team 1/2 for the next 5-8years? With dice K n schilling then keeping bucholz or lester to finish up that rotation with paps n okajima at the end of games.

I love Ellsbury, think hes going to be a very very good player, but he didnt get the RedSox to the #1 seed in the postseason he didnt win the world series for them. Remember coco crisp started the first 2 series in the post season.

Who's going to beat boston in a 5-7 game series when they got to face santana and beckett atleast 4 times maybe 5? I think the difference between always making the playoffs and having a chance or becoming a dynasty lies in getting Santnana
