Okay well not durrrr, but what is probably his 65/42 mouthdrooling retarded student or something. I got outleveled/outplayed SUPER HARD BY SUPER DONK (OR SUPER GENIUS SOUL READER)

Confidence = crushed

And yeah I had a good reason for my flop play and 3bet.

I meant if I were to be on a separate table tomorrow and the same sit. came up against a diff guy who was playing the exact way. I didn't know he was getting it in with K high when I made this play, so I can't use that info to decide what I should have done in that particular hand: that's the def. of results oriented thinking.

Okay well I want to improve, what do you suggest I do? Fold until I get a hand and then 3bet? He will insta snap fold to my 3bet if I do that. I really don't know what to do: I can't be a super nit and wait for hands because even retards at 50nl are smart enough to fold to the guy who never raises, but then I don't want to be in ugly situations like this one vs a guy who is probably a retard with a weak hand... This has actually always been a big problem for me, I can't find the balance between 'waiting for a hand vs retards' and 'giving enough action so they won't fold to any aggression from me when I do have a hand'. I don't know how to balance that, and YES, retarded guys will fold to you if you haven't done anything and then suddenly bet/raise, even at 50nl.

Serious suggestions plz.

Wtf should I do then, wait for a hand to 3bet then watch them insta fold to it? I have no idea how to balance out the 'don't play crap hands vs ppl who are retards' and the 'you have to give action to get action' realities, and I end up making some play like I did in this hand or I end up watching 65/42 ppl snap fold to my 3bet when I have AA or snap fold to my flop cbet because 'thats the guy who never bets or raises'. fasdfsdafsfsda give me suggestions plz

Honestly I think your whole mindset is wrong. OK, so there's a huge huge fish at your table and you have position on him. That doesnt' mean that it's your God-given right to stack him left and right. You are simply putting yourself in a largely long-term +EV situation and the desire to take him RIGHT NOW caused you to force the action and end up 3 betting a reraised pot with J high. Have you seen him fold after he minraises in a reraised pot? Even if you have, you will have so many more +EV opportunities to take his money than this.

So what do you do against this guy? Reraise any decent hand for value. AA-77, AK-AT, KQ. Add hands to this range as you see fit. Call a wide range of speculative hands in position. You want to take flops and slaughter him with your positional advantage right? Observe when he folds after he raises preflop, and adjust accordingly. Obviously if he never folds then that makes your job quite easy.

Flop play is actually not as bad as it seems, there is a lot of history here, i was like 80% certain he had air... + I have a backdoor fd + gutshot + maybe overcard if I get called. I just wasn't expecting him to look me up with K high obv.

I totally agree with your post, though. It was enlightening in the mindset of thinking "I'm long term +ev" vs "lets stack this 65/42 guy who opens nearly any 2"
