I was just wondering wtf was going on. I lost 20 BI's at NL200 in 4 days. I looked at every hand and realized I missplayed one big hand. Never went on tilt either because in the past that was a huge problem during the bad runs. But it seems that my downswings coincide with cashing out 1500$ bonuses on Pokerstars. So the doomswitch is on and I've heard of people going on 35 BI's loosing streaks but I never believed it. I now know it's possible.
So i was wondering if anyone here had some kind of ritual to break on of these runs ? I tried burning stuff but that didn't work.

I had one of them 15BI swings a while back and i didnt think i made any huge mistakes either. Yet i did notice my playingstyle differed a little from my normal style. (from 15vpip to 17vpip) I think i must have made bad calls during this period and to add to the effect i guess i made bad folds aswell!
The only remedy i could think of at that time was a time-out (1 week) and then i resumed at lower stakes because i had to move back down due to my strickt bankrollmanagement rules. When i resumed at my normal stakes i had my best heater ever! (20BI in one week) |

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most: saying something and wishing you had not, or saying nothing, and wishing you had? | |
