Spent a lot of time in the last couple of days watching NBA games. I am really excited to see Shaq getting dressed in a Suns jersey and dunk a couple of times with the help of Nash. Hopefully it works out! Shaq is just such an amazing personality, you cannot be really against him.
Though I see the Lakers/Spurs/Boston as the prime candidates to win it all... who knows?
For the next 4-5 days there won't be too much time to play poker, maybe I will squeeze in a 500 hand session here and there but no 1k session, I really have to put in hours in front of books and study hard...
Like i said I would, i played about 400 hands and made a decent profit. Will study for the rest of the day. Here are some interesting hands:

That is against a 50vpip moron. My turn call was actually pretty bad, expressed odds of 1-3,5 and he has about 55$ $ left. Odds for me to boat up 10,5-1. So even if I had hit my boat, this play was -EV. His 50% vpip convinced me to call...

This guy was a "wannabe" TAG. 20% VPIP but called with a lot of possibly dominated hands in position, or bad hands for multiway pots. UTG UBER nit raises, the TagTard coldcalls and I call for set value, since RR a 8% nit makes absolutely no sense. Flop looks kind of awkward but the check kind of told me that UTG had to have an AK sort of hand. I barrelled the turn, retard calls and then fires a real nice value bet on the river which I call. Should have folded.

Limped pot, i repop his donk bet real strong to kind of conceal my FD, then he calls. I hit my draw and bet weakish to induce an aggro reaction. He flatcalls. I fire a big barrel on the river. Villain might think that I was afraid on the turn but him calling that fear was unnecessary... In retrospect I should have fired a 10$ Value bet... How to get more value out of that hand??
Thx 4 reading.

It's just crazy how he's that big, and yet has no growth abnormailities like most tall athletes do. He's just a massive human being. He will play until he decides to retire and become a cop lol. |

Dangerous, but worth the risk.

I remember i used to love Shaq, back when he played for Orlando Magic. My best mate had a pair of the Shaq reebok pumps and i was sick jealous.
That was at about 15 years ago. How the fuck is he still playing? |

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and as we let our own lights shine we unconsciously give other people permision to do the same

lol this was UK. only moved to NZ last couple of years.
NZ has shoes, infact its not unusual to have ur shoes stolen - people get mugged for their shoes. When our uni flat was robbed they stole all the shoes but left the TV. |

Anyone interested in how NBA championships are won:

It is indeed a very long read but worth you. You get to know how the game of basketball is supposed to be played when you run a franchise and what it takes to get the ring.
Detroit is in fact a very strong team, but they lack a dominant big man to win it all. Rasheed is okay, but not even playing at All-Star level(though he was lucky to replace KG). Detroit won't beat the Celtics, they could not stop a LeBron one man show - they won't stop the big three... |
