I finally got rid of the belief that it was impossible to make money online. Yes I had seen people do it, and I know people who are succesful, but deep inside I didn't believe it. Now I believe it, I was at 20 bucks last monday and today im at 130, which far exceeded my goals for the week. So things look good so far.
My goals for now are just to get too 200, then 300, then 400 etc. Until I finally reach 600 so I can start 25nl.
At best I could get there in 2 weeks. But a moderate pace I think is a month, which at this point I think is very achievable.
If I make 30 bucks a night (which I've proven to myself is possible), thats 150 in 5 days. X 4 thats 600, and I have the 130 I already have as booster fuel to get there.
My daily goals then is to make 30 a day.
My monthly goal is to get my BR to 600.
If all goes to plan I should see 25nl in March.

just 24 table .01/.02 for 2weeks and play ubernit. You'll be rolled for 25NL in no time. |

yea, I recommend you buy the book "The Poker Mindset" by Ian Taylor and Matthew Hilger. Setting daily or even weekly goals may get in the way of your playing (i.e. you might be at $28 for the night about to end up your session with a couple more bucks, and then you run into 3 coolers in a row, you're at -2 for the day; what if you start tilting and start spewing money when you should be taking a break? what if you keep playing solidly but are card dead for the next hour and slowly your play deteriorates and you just slowly leak away your money?) that being said, I still set monthly goals/overall 6months and year goal but my PRIMARY goal is to play every single hand as profitably as I can |

Agree with most people above, don't set daily or weekly goals. Set a goal when you will move up and move down and play every hand in the most +EV way. Variance is a bitch sometimes. |
