Well, before starting this new challenge I was pretty confident I could maintain a 2.5ptbb/100 winrate over 40k hands at NL25 Full Ring on FTP, without any major variance or swings. Well, I think I was wrong. Either that, or I just suck at this game.
Check this out:

In there are three hands that were absolutely horrible. In all of these I'm pretty sure im over 90% favourite to win:

Also, I cant find the HH, but my AA lost to AK all-in preflop for 260BB's as well.

For like the first 2500 hands I was still feeling my around around the level of play at the tables, so lost like 1.5-2 buy-ins through that, but I feel like I know how the tables at this limit play now. To meet my goal of 2.5ptbb/100, after 7.5k hands I should have been up around $90. Well, if I would have won the above pots (total of like $180), I'm probably up overall. So atm I'm not overly concerned that I'm out of my league at NL25. However, my bankroll atm on FTP is sitting at like $300 ($60 of deposit bonus has been released). I'm thinking this is probably a little low to be 8-tabling NL25 FR, as my initial deposit of $400 was pushing it as far as being properly rolled goes. So, new plan is to 4-table NL25 FR for a little while, at least until I'm unstuck from the past 3 days. (bankroll around $475). See how that goes ne way.

Any comments/suggestions are welcome, as always!
Stay on the lookout for updates...
May luck be on my side!

deano, first of all sounds like u can kill this game, keep ur confidence up, u dont suck its just variance

this is the reason u play with more than 1-2 buyins... to absorb shit like this. moving down or playing 4 tables isnt going to help u its just the mental block u have to overcome about "having to have 20 bi" etc

playing more tables doesn't affect anything either except more hands because u are only ever risking $25 at a time, just more tables means u make decisions more often rather then waiting aruond

imo just keep 8 tabilng or whatever ur standard game is, if ur roll drops to like 200 or 150 then move down to nl10 or something

i just think its different since ur just rebuilding ur roll, not beating the limit for the first time so u should just go for it
