Been looking at this site for a while for a much more idle poker habit. I play microstakes (25nl) so fairly casually and with uni work increasing soon I'll be playing less than normal. I've been thinking that because pkr isn't compatable with pokertracker it'll have very few regs, and the intensive advertising and ridiculous USP (zomg I can make my person do tells) will make it fishy. If I'm not playing seriously then I may be better off on a site like pkr than stars.

Any thoughts or feedback by people on pkr?

your playing nl25 not nl1000, it doesn't matter where you play.

Daemonus, gawdawaful, PKR is different, its not ur average fishy site lol

yea kwarky i tried playing on PKR

to be honest i didnt like it. i tried to get some 4 tabling happening but it's really hard to do, its cumbersome and annoying. every hand takes forever to play since everyone is a noob. and everyone is really bad, but it doesn't stop them from sucking out on you which happened to me a few times. and one suckout will put you on life tilt since its such a grind waiting for a good hand anyway.

if i were u just try depositing like 15 bucks, play it for a bit of a laugh and for fun, and if u think u can stand it then try a multi tabling session. it is pretty cool the graphics though, just frustrating trying to multi table

i agree with this however fwiw if you don't have a lot of time to play then I think you should not be looking for a site where it'll be hard to not only get through a large volume of hands but difficult to navigate multi-tabling.

As for it being softer, I really don't think it'll make a big enough difference in your winrate to make up or be close to being better than playing at a site with better software/more hands/easier to multi-table.

Oh and yeah i've played on pkr site before, it was mentioned in a bluff magazine article that I happened to pick up while I was at the casino with some friends.
Went back home and just created an account to play play money and it was awesome fun for about 10 minutes, action is slooowww but it was a good 10 minutes fun playing with the actions you could do.
