FUCKING UNSUCESSFUL THATS WHAT!

Dropped almost 5 buyins in the last two days. Ran bad blah blah.. Confidence is absolutely shattered atm.

I mean I had over 30 buyins when I moved up so its not the end of the world but very frustrating.

I reaally want to prove I am a sustained winner at 2/4+ and grow my BR to a point where no one would fault me for quitting my $20/hr job and being independant off of poker.

So it's more of a crushing blow than just the money, mentally aswell. Going to go back to 1/2 now and rebuild until I get my mojo back.

As far as the games go - biggest jump of any level by FAR.

-WTF is up with everyone min-raising pf? Keli wannabes?
-People want to outplay people postflop, alot more coldcalling in position/raising flops.. makes for a much much more agressive game

I thought I played quite well, one mistake that cost me 1/2 a buyin for sure. Was slightly reluctant to multi-barrel without the goods but can't complain.
I'd post some hands but I'm seasoned enough to know whats a cooler and what warrants discussion.

Anyways I'll take a few days off (keep going to work -_- fuck) and come back at 1/2.

Oh, also looking at possible long term coaching plans with the right people. PM me about that if you are interested and available to take students.

hey siro, do you have card runners?
Brian Townsend released a REALLY good video specifically talking about making the move up from 1/2 to 2/4 and the differences in aggression and how to adjust to it

it's a semi decent wage here, and has good potential but yes I could make more per hour at freakin 50NL

I just need to gather the capital to move out cause my parents sure as shit wont have me here if i quit my job for poker.

I wouldnt want to move out unless I could earn 70k a year absolute minimum anyway (which I think I could if I played 1/2 as a job)

I wouldn't recommend having poker as a job if u have expenses before at the very least NL 200, but preferably NL 400.

fuck I should just sell some of my Pokemon cards, if no one stakes that is what I will have to do - lostaccount

you should just play 1/2nl untill you see ur self crushing it for 5~7pt/bb. Just play for a month and break 100buyin+ then move up comfortably.

I think "move up when ur roll is at 30buyin" is overrated. You can easily make 100k+ a year at 1/2nl. No reason to rush.

200nl to 400nl is definitely the biggest step imo. After playing like 50k hands there I still had a copped a 20buy-in downswing one month,

Just keep presisting and you'll be able to beat it, there's no reason why can't, you've progressed through the other stakes very fast.
