I am officially a college graduate from Western New England College, with a BA (not BS) in Mathematical Sciences.

My future plans include taking an actuary test route to becoming a certified actuary in case I ever need or want a job. The test is on May 28th and I plan to go to a few graduation parties, have one of my own and then I'm off to Vegas to spoon with AJ (Doomer) every night whether he likes it or not.

i haven't taken the probability test, but i just aced a probability class last semester that has a graduate level curriculum.

The one I'm taking the 28th is going to be the financial mathematics, which I'm not very well prepared for. I took an independent study on the required text about a year ago and only got halfway through the book, so I just started from the beginning a few days ago and I'm just gonna read through it by the end of this week and try and crank out as many example problems and practice tests as I can before the test.

hey im studying actuary as well, yeh financial maths is the toughest subject here in melbourne anyway.

so in the states you graduate and then you specialise in actuary? how long did it take to get your degree?
