Yesterday I played the 1st tennis match of my life. It was a 1 set match, in club-tourney, but instead of the usual "who wins 6 games first" rule, it was "who wins 8 games first".
It was a disgrace. I practise tennis for 5 months now, lost 8-2 T__T. Since I have very little experience other than practise sessions, I was very unused to the speed of his serve. Couldn't return his 1st serve for shit. All I could do was to hope he would miss the 1st serve. It happened a lot tho, but I still couldn't take advantage of his crappy 2nd serve.
I felt I was much better player than him, except that I got so nervous I was missing everything. I mean I wasn't shaking, feeling cold or anything like that. It's just that my ball wasn't going the right way and I started feeling if I hit it harder I'd miss it, so I was hitting very weakly on the ball.
I wouldn't mind losing 8-2 if I played my best. I'm just kinda sad because I played terribly and the guy was way worse than me. Well he serves much better than me tho.
On Poker: I was doing pretty well playing 5$ HU until yesterday. After I arrived tennis I decided to play poker, and for the first time I lost like 6 in a row, and was getting sucked out all the time. Like losing AKs vs 79o, KK vs T5, A8 vs 23, anyway, every sort of defeat that frustrates you.
Anyway, I fishly tilted so bad that I fishly did something I don't want to talk about because it doesn't make me happy and ended up losing the $183 I slowly built from playing headsup.
I guess now I won't "lose" time with poker. Maybe in a couple of months I'll sign for some LP promo and have some fun again with poker. Especially now that Pinball said he would be my coach and follow up closely my game until I become a winning player, all of this for free. Ei Erik no need to block me on MSN I'm just kidding hehe.
