Ok so overall I'm having a pretty horrible day. I was playing a few hours in the afternoon and things were going soooooooooo slow. I was getting incredibly shit cards the whole time, only getting something decent ever so rarely. I was still positive though.
I was talking to Oddeye and he was explaining some stuff to me, especially about aggression and betting. So I tried some of the cbetting he was telling me about and scaring people out of the pot. This has not worked well for me at all. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Oddeye gave me bad advice - he is leagues and years ahead of me in terms of play, experience and gamesense. I guess I didn't understand how to employ it correctly and it is too advanced for my play.
So I started the day at $33. At the moment I am at about $17. I'm just pretty discouraged right now.

stop playing 10nl underolled, go back to 2nl.
i went from $10 to $200 in like 2 weeks at 2nl.
just shortstack each table for $1-$2 each. easiest bankroll builder ever |

I can't play NL2 because FTP doesn't have it.. And that's why I wanted to switch to Pstars. |

think about someone's calling/raising range and the board texture to know when to cbet. I also play NL10 and something I just realized today was how retarded it was for me to cbet with AK after it's been checked to me in a pot that was reraised preflop. Little to no fold equity against someone's 3bet calling range (JJ+,AK)
I like cbetting and have had much success in limped pots with 1 or 2 other people, because people limp a wide range in NL10 - almost always done when I'm in the BB. I also like cbetting almost any flop against someone who limped and called my raised. It's more dependent on the flop texture if I lead out with a cbet out of position. |

I've scared some people out of some pretty big pots using c-bet when I don't have squat. But with that same token, I find it really dangerous for me, because if they are slowplaying me and just calling, I can get really fucked over if i invest a lot into the pot cbetting. So ya for now I'm going to hold off on that. |
