Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated. | Last edit: 18/09/2008 18:44 |

VirtualDub is the standard free tool for video editing, you can find it one the standard video editing forum: http://www.doom9.org/ under AVI editors.
basically camtasia's video and audio compressors really suck. you're going to want to save as avi from camtasia then open the file in virtual dub and switch it to full stream processing mode under both video and audio drop downs. then you will want to select a good compression format under the drop downs, I recommend xvid and mp3 respectively (you can find the xvid codec from google if its not already on your system)
Then you go "save as avi" in virtualdub and watch the progress bar as it re-encodes it
PM me if you have problems figuring it out.
also I would love to see the completed vid cause I can't beat NL100 it seems |

Thank you very much Silver, I managed that. I got my 5:30 down to 20mb, so that should be ok for a 40min vid. I'll upload it and link it in my blog when it's done... |

hey oly i dunno heaps about videos and codecs but i used to make CS movies back in the day
anyway i made a poker vid a few months ago, and i just used camtasia and the "wmv" codec. it worked well and was godlike quality, + small. but it took hours to render! maybe give it a try, something like "windows media video" format
